My work is ever evolving. I like ambiguity, multiple references and work in a
variety of styles and subjects. Color and calligraphic gestures are guiding
aspects. I continue to love oil paint and its vibrant organic qualities, while
experimenting with acrylics or cold wax are recent mediums of choice. Work
is generally carried out in an intuitive manner, allowing the painting to
influence direction. Locke holds an MFA from San Jose State University in CA.
