Carol Adamec revisits her Japanese Garden theme at Weyrich Gallery, opening Friday, May 3 from 5-8:30 pm. April showers bring May flowers…” and kimonos and garden views to the Weyrich Gallery with In a Japanese Garden, Revisted. In this exhibit of new work, Adamec once again presents a body of work featuring various configurations of kimonos and paintings of flowers to create the ambience of a Japanese garden. The exhibit continues through May 31 and can be viewed Tues–Fri, 10:30am-5:30pm, and Sat 11am-5:30pm.
Marian Berg is exhibiting at O'Neills restaurant at Juan Tabo from May 26 - June 29. The reception will be Tuesday, June 11 from 5-7 pm.
Leslie Kryder opens her first solo show at Napoli Coffee—Rocks, Stones, Standing Stones. May 1 through June 15, This series is inspired by the beauty and color of rocks. Working in oils and several kinds of paper. She created partially abstracted explorations of color, texture, and form suggested by stones and stone formations, which she encountered during hikes in New Mexico and a recent trip to Scotland.
Sue Pine is part of the Artists on the Rise exhibition at the New Mexico Cancer Center. The reception is Friday, June 7 from 6-8:30 pm. and the show runs through August 15.
Janine Wilson has five paintings at St. Marks Episcopal Church as part of the Yucca Branch of the National League of American Pen Women's show through August 30.
