JADE HERRARA
Twenty years ago I met my prince charming who told me I no longer had to work. Thus began my art journey with a watercolor class at a junior college in Stockton, California. With weekly trips to the library gathering all the art technique books I could locate, I taught myself 'art'. I have dabbled in watercolor, oil, pastel, acrylic, encaustic and mixed media. I prefer mixed media as it allows me to utilize all methods and materials in my creation. Most of my mixed media work utilizes paper. I find paper inspires and directs me often with surprising results.
We moved to Rio Rancho in 2018. It is truly a wonderful last stop in life and my art journey - good thing, price charming says he isn't moving again!
