GINA SHAW

Picture
The media I choose often varies with my mood and time of day, but with so many artists who love to live and work in the Southwest, I am always inspired by the rugged beauty of the land: the colorful plateus with their bright oranges, grays and soft whites and those deep black shadows defined by the harsh desert glare: that deep blue overhead, the clouds gathering until the sky is filled with unfolding drama of darkness and light. Then suddenly, there are all the delicate greens and grays after a welcome summer rain.
Gina is a self taught artist who has shown her work at The Gallery ABQ and the Maple Street Dance Space.
