Janice Wentworth is a California native and retired academic counselor now living in the New Mexico East Mountains.
Having had no formal art training or education, her journey into the world of painting has been a circuitous one taking her through a variety of mediums, styles and multiple transformations over the years. The one common thread throughout has been a passion for portrait and figurative work. She now works primarily in acrylics and mixed media.
