WANNI ZHOU
Wanni was born in Nanjing, China and has lived in rural Canada and the Midwest of the United States. She found her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2017. She enjoyed making art as a child and in her teens, only rekindling her connection to this form of creativity in 2023.
She works in both traditional and digital mediums, and her artwork explores her connections to nature, dreams, and ancestry. As a clinical psychologist, she holds stories sacred, and conveys her stories through her paintings.
