FRAN KRUKAR

After graduating from the University of New Mexico with an art degree and spending years as a potter, Fran became a watercolorist. Her watercolors have been accepted into international, national and local juried exhibits. Her paintings have won awards including Best of Show at a New Mexico Watercolor exhibit. She
shows her work at Yucca Gallery and local art and craft fairs.
Fran is a Signature member of the New Mexico Watercolor Society and
served a term as director of the signature group. She has held many
volunteer positions with the National League of American Pen Women.
These positions include two terms as president and one term as state
president. Fran was honored to be designated a Local Treasure by
Albuquerque Art Business Association in 2924. "Watercolor is a wonderful challenge to create a painting through the use of color, shape and value to form fruit, flowers, people, and landscapes.
