teej is an artist who's goal is to "help expand the American voice by sharing her life's learnings as a Black, American, Woman, and Mother." She says "these learnings include the joys and hardships of being raised by a child of a slave, growing up in an inner-city housing project, and attending Oxford University's Exeter college."
