Caryl is an award-winning artist and teacher of book design, calligraphy, photography, painting and nature journaling. Her work has taken her around the world. She studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and has degrees in painting and design and bilingual education from UNM. She carries her sketchbooks on her travels to record her impressions. At home at Three Cranes Studio, Caryl transforms these into etchings, serigraphs and, most recently, watercolors.
