Clancy moved to Albuquerque from Boston five years ago in search of sun and family.  She also found and revived her love of screen printing.  She initially created and sold a series of note cards.  She is now producing larger prints that focus on the ever present mountains and flowers. Future plans include creating even larger images as well as producing patterns by printing over loosely woven fabric.

"I am a scientist and an artist. Science satisfies my quest for understanding life in a concrete way whereas art enlivens my spirit in somewhat magical ways I don't understand. In response to beauty I am compelled to create images in my own style. My technique of choice is screen printing (serigraphy).  While some artists find screen printing tedious, I love the process."
