.Kathleen was born in Albuquerque, NM, took a BFA degree from the Univ. of Colorado in theater, art minor, and has been self-employed since 1975. She says. "I made a commitment to myself about ten years ago to return to my art since there is one thing in life that is finite - time - which slips by whether we like it or not. I picked up my art where I left it decades earlier and soon I became interested in paper cutting. My medium isn't "pure" paper cutting, but always mixed media and lately I've added beads, threads and ribbon to pictures, along with ink and pastel. Her unique style of mixed media work brought home a blue ribbon from the NM State Fair Fine Arts exhibit this year.
