Joan is a commercial, documentary, and fine arts photographer who is a native of Chicago.  She has been a New Mexico since 1984, moving to Albuquerque from the Navajo Reservation in Arizona where she worked as a psychologist.  Joan has traveled widely in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia and Latin America - photographing everywhere These photos are from a recent trip to Africa.
